Doha:The QNB Group has reported a 4% increase in net profit for the first nine months of 2026, reaching QAR 13.3 billion compared to QAR 12.8 billion in the same period last year.
According to Qatar News Agency, the bank's Earnings per Share rose to QAR 1.37 as of September 30, 2026, up from QAR 1.31 the previous year.
The increase in net profit has been attributed to higher operating income, with the total assets of the bank rising by 5% to QAR 1.46 trillion.
Group Chief Executive Officer Abdulla Mubarak Al-Khalifa commented that the results reflect the strength of QNB's franchise and focus on delivery. He emphasized the bank's international reach and strong customer relationships, which support businesses in their investments and growth. Al-Khalifa highlighted the bank's financial strength and its commitment to pursuing value additive opportunities with confidence.
As QNB enters the final quarter, the focus remains on achieving continued growth and delivering sustainable returns for shareholders. The bank aims to enhance customer relationships and invest in services and capabilities to strengthen competitiveness, supported by strong operational discipline.
