Hebron:Israeli occupation forces arrested 22 Palestinians on Thursday during raids in the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank, detaining dozens more.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian WAFA news agency reported that the forces stormed several neighborhoods in Hebron city and areas to the west and south, conducting raids, searching Palestinian homes, and ransacking their contents.
The raids extended to the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, where several homes were searched. Many people were detained for extended periods, subjected to abuse, and field interrogations before eventually being released.
The Hebron Governorate has experienced increasing raids and attacks by Israeli forces and settlers in recent times, amid heightened military restrictions in the area.
