Hanoi:Markets Gold prices experienced a rise on Thursday following a dip to a two-month low in the prior session, as investors awaited more information regarding the US Federal Reserve's upcoming interest rate decisions.
According to Qatar News Agency, spot gold increased by 0.4% to reach $4,127.40 per ounce. The day before, gold prices had fallen to their lowest point since August 5, influenced by a stronger dollar and rising US Treasury yields.
US gold futures set for December delivery also saw an uptick, gaining 0.3% to settle at $4,150.60 per ounce.
In the broader metals market, spot silver climbed 0.4% to $60.39 per ounce. Meanwhile, platinum and palladium both rose by 1.4%, with platinum priced at $1,653.88 and palladium at $1,141.00.
