Doha:Al Sadd coach Razvan Lucescu has confirmed that his team is prepared to face Al Arabi in Week 5 of the Doha Bank Stars League on Friday.
According to Qatar News Agency, Lucescu emphasized the significance of the upcoming match, stating that the team's goal is to secure victory and earn all three points. He acknowledged that the match will be challenging, with Al Arabi known for their resilience and strong physical play, necessitating full focus from Al Sadd's players.
Al Arabi coach Contra Cosmin expressed that the recent break allowed his team to regroup and focus on improving their technical and tactical skills. He noted that facing the league champions, Al Sadd, who have dominated Qatari football for the past decade, serves as a strong motivation for his players. Cosmin highlighted the team's determination to maintain their strong start to the season and improve their goal conversion rate.
Cosmin also remarked on his familiarity with Al Sadd and their coach, praising their organization and aggressive playing style. Despite this, he expressed confidence in Al Arabi's competitive mindset and ability to defeat any opponent.
