Brussels: Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, met with HE Managing Director for the MENA region at the European External Action Service, Helene Le Gal, on Tuesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on the cooperation ties between Qatar and the European Union. Key topics included the latest developments in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as in Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen. The ongoing Russia-Ukraine crisis and discussions between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran were also on the agenda.

Le Gal expressed appreciation for Qatar’s role in joint mediation efforts aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The meeting was attended by HE Head of the State of Qatar’s Mission to the EU and NATO, Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki.
