Beirut:HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Parliament Speaker of the Lebanese Republic Nabih Berri to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation and supporting Lebanon's security and stability.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting, held on Friday, concentrated on the relationship between Qatar and Lebanon, addressing the latest developments in Lebanon and the broader region.
The discussions included ongoing efforts to bolster security and stability amidst regional tensions. HE Sheikh Mohammed emphasized Qatar's support for Lebanon's stability and territorial unity and reiterated Doha's commitment to aiding the strengthening of Lebanese state institutions.
This meeting was part of HE Sheikh Mohammed's visit to Beirut, where he also conducted talks with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and senior security officials.
