Hanoi:HE Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai held a meeting with HE Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy of the Italian Republic Adolfo Urso to explore ways to enhance cooperation between Qatar and Italy in the fields of communications and information technology.
According to Qatar News Agency, The meeting focused on opportunities for joint efforts in artificial intelligence ethics and governance, as well as the digital industry and economy. The ministers emphasized promoting the exchange of expertise and fostering partnerships between digital-sector entities and companies in both countries.
HE Minister Al Mannai highlighted the importance of expanding Qatar-Italy cooperation, particularly in priority digital and technological areas. He expressed a desire to turn available opportunities into concrete partnerships and projects, which would bolster the presence of startups on international platforms.
The discussion also covered strengthening connections between technology companies and entrepreneurs from both nations. The aim is to expand trade and technological cooperation and make the most of opportunities in the Qatari market.
