New york: Major US stock market indices opened lower on Wall Street on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 130.1 points, or 0.29%, to 44,808.21 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the S and P 500 opened down 14.9 points, or 0.23%, at 6,380.83 points, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 60.3 points, or 0.28%, opening at 21,112.52 points.
