Ukraine Reports Power Outages in Multiple Regions Following Russian Offensives

Kyiv: Russian aircraft and missiles targeted the energy infrastructure in Odesa Oblast in southern Ukraine, resulting in electricity cuts for approximately 60,000 people in the area, Ukrainian authorities have announced. Emergency crews in Kyiv are racing against time to repair the damage, the authorities said, noting that the attacks also struck commercial cargo trucks.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy stated that electricity was also cut off for some residents of Chernihiv Oblast in the north and Kharkiv Oblast in the northeast of Ukraine. Earlier Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that Russia launched nearly 1,500 assault drones, 1,170 guided aerial bombs, and over 70 missiles on Ukraine over the past week.
