Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin bilateral relations between the two countries in a phone call Monday.

According to a statement by the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Directorate, a number of regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed during the call.
