Doha: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a phone call today to discuss bilateral relations, the Ukrainian crisis, and developments in Syria.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ministers exchanged views on the evolving situation in Syria and emphasized the necessity of unconditional respect for Syria’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
Both ministers stressed the importance of joint efforts to advance a comprehensive resolution in Syria that ensures the legal rights of all Syrian citizens.
