Doha: The QSE index started Thursday’s trading with a rise of 0.16%, gaining 18.12 points to reach 11,160 points compared to the previous session’s close, supported by five sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, figures from QSE indicated a positive performance in several sectors: the Industrial sector increased by 0.31%, Banks and Financial Services by 0.15%, Transportation by 0.14%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.03%, and Telecoms by 0.01%.
Conversely, the Insurance and Real Estate sectors experienced a decline, with the Insurance sector down by 0.10% and Real Estate by 0.06%.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange reported 3,054 transactions valued at QAR 60.379 million, which were spread over 18.116 million shares.
