Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell 25.58 points, or 0.23%, to 11,281 at the start of trading on Thursday, weighed down by losses from three sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Industrial sector fell by 0.36%, Banks and Financial Services by 0.27%, and Telecoms by 0.07%. Meanwhile, Transportation performed positively, rising by 0.34%, Insurance by 0.25%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.08%, and Real Estate by 0.02%.
As of 10:00 am, the QSE recorded a trading volume of 21.949 million shares, with a total turnover of QR 53.741 million across 3,276 transactions.
