Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index edged up 0.01% at the start of trading on Monday, adding 1.50 points to reach 10,616 compared to the previous session’s close.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains in Real Estate (+1.10%) and Banks and Financial Services (+0.26%). Declines were recorded in several sectors, including Insurance, which fell by 0.93%, Transportation by 0.43%, Telecoms by 0.40%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.12%, and Industrials by 0.10%.

By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 52.541 million from 20.861 million shares traded across 2,405 transactions.
