Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Wednesday, experiencing an increase of 49.40 points, or 0.46 percent, to reach a level of 10,723.46 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a total of 95,739,586 shares being exchanged, with a trading value amounting to QAR 271,393,713.597. These transactions occurred through a total of 14,811 trades spanning all sectors.
The session concluded with 29 companies seeing their shares rise, 19 companies experiencing a decline, and five companies maintaining their previous closing prices.
At the close of the trading session, the market capitalization showed an increase, standing at QAR 640,154,611,320.670, compared to QAR 638,022,377,740.330 recorded in the previous trading session.
