QIIB and The Group Securities Sign MoU to Advance Digital Services

Doha: QIIB and The Group Securities have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two sides and developing digital services provided to customers, enabling a seamless and integrated investment and banking experience.

According to Qatar News Agency, the MoU was signed by Chief Executive Officer of QIIB Dr. Abdulbasit Ahmad al Shaibei and Chairman of The Group Securities Hamad bin Khalaf al Moudadi, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides. Under the MoU, both institutions will provide reciprocal services and advanced digital tools that enrich the experience of investors in the capital market, in compliance with the highest banking standards.

Al Moudadi expressed satisfaction with the agreement, noting the long-standing relationship between the two institutions and emphasizing its potential to enhance service efficiency for investors. He highlighted the importance of building strategic partnerships with the local banking sector to improve the investment trading environment.

Dr. al Shaibei remarked that the MoU marks a strategic step in QIIB's ongoing efforts to expand its digital service network. He emphasized the institution's commitment to digital transformation and innovation, aligning with the Qatar National Vision of fostering a knowledge-based digital economy.
