Doha: HE Governor of Qatar Central Bank (QCB), Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani, met with HE General Manager of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), Pablo Hernandez de Cos, on the sidelines of the 96th BIS General Annual Meeting held in Basel, Switzerland. During the meeting, they reviewed key aspects of bilateral cooperation in the financial and banking sectors and discussed ways to enhance them.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between the two officials focused on strengthening the collaboration between Qatar Central Bank and the Bank for International Settlements. The meeting underscored the importance of international partnerships in advancing financial stability and exploring new opportunities for cooperation in various banking initiatives.
