Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Monday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) reveal the current interest rates across multiple currencies, providing a comprehensive overview for investors and account holders.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD, JPY, CHF, and GBP varied across different time frames. For USD, the 1-month rate stands at 3.86417, the 2-month rate at 3.82580, and the 3-month rate at 3.78743. The 6-month and 12-month rates are 3.70377 and 3.51111, respectively. In contrast, JPY deposit rates range from 0.40000 for 1-month to 0.65000 for 12-months. CHF rates are noted at -0.20000 for 1-month, with a gradual increase to -0.06000 for 12-month deposits. GBP rates are relatively stable, starting at 3.88000 for 1-month and reaching 4.00000 for 12-month deposits.
The QNB also provided the deposit rates for QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD. The rates for QAR start at 4.35000 for a 1-month deposit and decline to 3.75000 for a 12-month period. SAR rates are consistent at 4.55000 for both 2-month and 12-month deposits, with a slight increase to 4.75000 for a 1-month deposit. AED deposit rates show an upward trend from 2.05000 for 1-month to 3.15000 for 12-months. Meanwhile, BHD rates decrease from 4.76000 for 1-month to 4.39000 for 12-month deposits.
