Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Wednesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) are as following.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for various currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD have been updated by QNB. For USD deposits, the 1-month rate is 4.25486%, while the 12-month rate stands at 3.75642%. Other notable rates include the 1-month Japanese Yen (JPY) rate at 0.40000% and the 12-month rate at 0.55000%.
The Swiss Franc (CHF) has a 1-month rate of -0.11000%, shifting to a positive 0.01000% for 12 months. The British Pound (GBP) starts at 4.01000% for 1 month and increases to 4.20000% for 12 months.
For Qatari Riyal (QAR) deposits, the 1-month rate is 4.85000%, decreasing slightly to 4.45000% over a 12-month period. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) maintains a 1-month rate of 4.90000%, with a slight decrease to 5.05000% for 12 months.
The UAE Dirham (AED) has a starting rate of 2.05000% for 1 month, increasing to 3.15000% over 12 months. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) consistently stands at 5.00000% for 1 to 6 months, before decreasing to 4.50000% for a 12-month term.
