Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has released the latest deposit rates for various currencies, which came into effect on Monday. The newly issued rates cover a range of currencies, including the USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD, with terms ranging from one month to twelve months.
According to Qatar News Agency, the USD deposit rates begin at 4.33115 for a one-month term, gradually decreasing to 3.86056 for a twelve-month term. The JPY rates remain constant at 0.40000 and 0.45000 for up to six months, with a slight increase to 0.55000 for twelve months. The CHF rates start at -0.19000 for one month and see minor fluctuations, with -0.08000 for both two and twelve months. Meanwhile, the GBP rates begin at 3.96000 for one month, peaking at 4.18000 for a twelve-month term.
The Qatari Riyal (QAR) rates start at 4.83333 for a one-month term and decrease to 4.41667 for a twelve-month term. For the Saudi Riyal (SAR), the rates range from 4.90000 for one month to 5.05000 for twelve months. The AED rates show an increase from 2.05000 for one month to 3.15000 for a twelve-month tenure. The BHD rates, on the other hand, begin at 5.25000 for one month and decrease to 4.85000 over a year.
