Riyadh: The State of Qatar took part in the opening of the 7th Global Occupational Safety and Health Conference, which is being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from May 4-6. The event is organized under the theme “Future of Occupational Safety and Health.”

According to Qatar News Agency, the conference was attended by a group of senior officials and experts from various parts of the world. The State of Qatar was represented by HE Minister of Labour Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri during the conference’s opening session.

The conference aims to address several critical topics, including Sustainability Strategies in the Workplace, the impact of Digitization and Modern Technology on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), and the Economics of OSH. Additional discussions are set to explore the Future of Research and Innovation in the Field of OSH, anticipated Challenges in OSH, as well as Human Behaviors and OSH Culture.
