Doha: Qatar Chamber and Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Florida, USA, engaged in discussions to strengthen the economic and trade relations between Qatar and the United States. The talks focused on exploring investment opportunities in key sectors, including infrastructure, technology, renewable energy, healthcare, and tourism.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions took place during a meeting between Qatar Chamber Board Member Fahad bin Mohamed Buzuwair and a business delegation from the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by President and CEO Douglas Evans. Buzuwair highlighted the cooperative relations between Qatar and the United States and emphasized the potential for collaboration between the Qatari private sector and its counterpart in Palm Beach City. He underscored Qatar’s attractive investment environment, supported by world-class infrastructure and various incentives.

Buzuwair encouraged the American side to explore the numerous investment opportunities in Qatar, highlighting the facilities and incentives available to foreign investors. Meanwhile, Douglas Evans expressed interest in building closer ties with Qatar’s business community. He extended an invitation to Qatar Chamber and Qatari business owners to visit Palm Beach to explore potential areas of cooperation and investment. Additionally, Evans invited Qatari business owners to participate in the Flagler Forum, scheduled for April 5-7, 2026, a platform for international dialogue on economic collaboration.
