Doha:HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani engaged in a telephone conversation with HE Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic, Dr. Nawaf Salam, focusing on regional security and bilateral cooperation.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion addressed strengthening bilateral relations and regional developments. Emphasis was placed on diplomatic efforts and coordination to reduce tensions and enhance security and stability in the region.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar reaffirmed the nation's commitment to supporting diplomatic initiatives aimed at ensuring freedom of maritime navigation and pursuing a comprehensive peace agreement. Additionally, Qatar's unwavering support for Lebanon's stability, territorial integrity, and solidarity with the Lebanese people was reiterated during the call.
