Qatar Airways Resumes Non-Stop Flights to Malta with Four Weekly Services

Doha: Qatar Airways announced the resumption of its operations with four non-stop flights a week between Hamad International Airport (DOH) and Malta International Airport (MLA).

According to Qatar News Agency, this move marks a significant step in enhancing connectivity between Qatar and Malta, providing greater convenience for travelers between the two destinations.

The announcement comes as part of Qatar Airways’ ongoing efforts to expand its global network and improve travel options for passengers. The airline’s decision to resume the Malta route is expected to boost tourism and business travel, contributing to stronger economic ties between the two nations.

In related news, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has successfully renewed its international accreditation for the fourth consecutive year from the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB). This accreditation covers inspection and sampling within the Food Safety Department, especially in monitoring imported food at all entry points to the country.

Additionally, the Qatar Stock Exchange experienced fluctuations in trading, with the general index closing slightly higher by 0.85 points or 0.01 percent to reach 10,699.24 points. The trading session began with a decline of 22.92 points due to losses across six sectors, but eventually closed with a marginal gain.

Meanwhile, Qatar Charity (QC) has taken significant strides in enhancing water security in Djibouti by inaugurating five solar-powered artesian wells in various regions, supported by charitable contributions from Qatar. This initiative aims to mitigate the effects of drought and improve water accessibility.
