Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda Haruna Kasolo Kyeyune, who is currently visiting the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs received a message of condolence from HE President Yoweri Museveni of the Republic of Uganda. The message conveyed condolences to the State of Qatar on the passing of HH the late Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.

The discussion between the two leaders focused on bilateral cooperation and explored ways to strengthen ties. They also addressed several issues of mutual interest.
