Washington: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani engaged in a meeting with HE Secretary of State of the United States of America Marco Rubio. The discussions highlighted the robust strategic relations between Qatar and the United States and explored avenues for further strengthening these ties.

According to Qatar News Agency, the dialogue also covered critical regional developments, focusing on areas such as the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, Syria, and Lebanon. Both leaders stressed the significance of collaborative mediation efforts aimed at achieving a lasting ceasefire in Gaza.

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s commitment to diplomacy and dialogue as a means to resolve outstanding issues between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
