Gaza City:A Palestinian passed away on Friday due to injuries sustained from a recent Israeli air strike on Gaza City. The strike targeted the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in the northwest of the city.
According to Qatar News Agency, the assault was part of a broader campaign of artillery shelling and gunfire by Israeli occupation forces across different regions of the Gaza Strip.
In the southern part of Gaza, Israeli tanks fired on tents housing displaced people in Al-Mawasi, Rafah, and in areas south and east of Khan Yunis, accompanied by further artillery shelling. Additionally, several Palestinians were injured in strikes and raids conducted by Israeli forces against homes and residential buildings throughout the Strip.
Since the onset of Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the death toll has escalated to 74,396, with 175,449 people reported wounded. Despite a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel that was established last October, Israeli forces continue to carry out airstrikes, artillery attacks, and gunfire in various areas of the Strip.
