Istanbul: A person was killed and nine others were injured in a chain collision accident in Esenler district in Istanbul, northwest Turkiye. The accident involved a motorcycle, a minibus, and three cars on the Esenler highway.
According to Qatar News Agency, police, health, and firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene following the crash. The collision resulted in the death of the motorcycle rider, while nine others sustained injuries.
In a related incident in May 2024, an accident on the highway connecting Mersin with Adana and Gaziantep provinces in southern Turkiye led to ten fatalities and 30 injuries.
