New Batch of Experts Take Legal Oath at Ministry of Justice

Doha: A new batch of experts took the legal oath Monday morning at the Ministry of Justice to be registered in the Ministry of Justice's roster of experts accredited before the judicial authorities in the country, in accordance with the regulations stipulated in Law No. (16) of 2017 regulating expert work.

According to Qatar News Agency, the new batch comprised 15 experts from national cadres, with expertise in various specializations, including accounting, real estate, electrical engineering, architecture, survey engineering, banking, industry management, industrial engineering, engineering project management, and social experience, particularly focusing on disability and autism.

On this occasion, Director of the Experts Department at the Ministry of Justice, Abdullah Abu Shahab Al Marri, congratulated the new experts on their taking of the legal oath. He emphasized the importance of their role as assistants to judges and as one of the pillars of achieving effective justice. Their legal responsibility involves showing evidence and proofs related to the technical aspects of various cases, which plays a critical role in expediting the issuance of judgments and the adjudication of cases.

The Ministry of Justice, through its Department of Experts, remains committed to strengthening the national cadre of experts. It aims to provide qualified professionals who keep pace with the country's comprehensive development across various sectors. This commitment is realized by fostering an integrated work environment that supports the development of a leading Qatari expertise system and by introducing new areas of expertise in line with the needs of the judicial authorities and other competent entities.
