Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index 30 closed on Thursday at 4,849.71 points, marking an increase of 40.3 points or 0.84 percent from the previous close of 4,809.44 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading value for the day was OMR 25,273,599, representing a decrease of 10.4 percent compared to the last session, which recorded a trading value of OMR 28,211,023. The market value experienced an increase of 0.438 percent, reaching approximately OMR 29.40 billion, as detailed in a report released by MSX.
