Ministry of Culture Celebrates National Day at Expo 2025 Osaka

Osaka: The Ministry of Culture will participate in Expo 2025, held in Osaka, Japan, through an event celebrating “Qatar National Day,” scheduled for July 8.

According to Qatar News Agency, the event aims to highlight Qatari culture and its artistic and heritage diversity. The National Day celebration program includes musical performances by Qatari singer Mansoor Al Muhannadi, alongside a Qatari band presenting pieces inspired by the local environment with a contemporary spirit. A traditional folk band will also showcase authentic Qatari heritage arts and popular chants performed at social and national occasions.

The event will feature elements from Qatar’s authentic cultural environment, such as “Muqahwi”, a person who serves Arabic coffee to guests in a traditional style that reflects Qatari hospitality. Additionally, a calligrapher will display classical Arabic calligraphy arts to visitors and offer to write their names in Arabic as symbolic gifts.

ategy aimed at enhancing cultural understanding and building bridges of communication between peoples through shared arts and heritage. Expo 2025 Osaka is one of the most prominent global events, attracting participants from around the world.
