Asheville: HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari met separately with HE Minister of Finance and National Revenue of Canada Francois-Philippe Champagne and HE Minister of Economy of the Argentine Republic Luis Andres Caputo. The meetings took place on the sidelines of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Asheville, North Carolina, USA.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on a range of financial and economic issues. The meetings also addressed current regional and international developments and the associated challenges. Emphasis was placed on matters of mutual interest between the State of Qatar and both Canada and Argentina.
