Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be misty to foggy at places at first, and hot daytime with some clouds at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected poor horizontal visibility at places at first. Offshore, the weather will be hazy to misty at first with scattered clouds at times, the report added.
According to Qatar News Agency, inshore winds will be variable at first, becoming northwesterly to northeasterly at 5 to 15 KT, while offshore winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly at 3 to 13 KT. The sea state inshore will range from 1 to 2 feet, while offshore it will be 1 to 3 feet. Visibility is expected to range from 4 to 9 km/ 2 km or less at places at first inshore and from 4 to 9 km/ 3 km offshore.
The report also provided high tide and low tide timings for various areas with their respective minimum and maximum temperature forecasts. In Doha, high tides are expected at 06:45 and 18:05, with low tides at 01:38 and 13:52, and temperatures ranging from 30 to 39 degrees. Mesaieed will see high tides at 08:30 and 20:01, with low tides at 02:24 and 14:44, and temperatures between 28 and 39 degrees. Similarly, Wakrah, Al Khor, Ruwais, Dukhan, and Abu Samra have their respective tidal timings and temperature forecasts listed.
Sunrise is expected at 05:18 LT and sunset at 17:41 LT, providing additional details for residents to plan their activities accordingly.
