Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait condemned the incursion by an Israeli occupation official, accompanied by groups of extremist settlers, into Al Aqsa Mosque under the protection of occupation forces, describing it as a violation of international law and a provocation to Muslims.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs categorically rejected all attempts to alter the existing historical and legal status of Al Aqsa Mosque, stressing the need for the international community to assume its responsibilities and put an end to these repeated violations.
The statement reaffirmed Kuwait's firm support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people's right to establish an independent state along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
