Kuwait Bourse Sees Gains with All Share Index Rising

Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with the All Share Index experiencing a gain of 16.70 points, reaching 7917.92 points, marking an increase of 0.21 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw the exchange of approximately 620 million shares, with a total value of KWD 112.19 million, equivalent to roughly USD 343.3 million, facilitated through 25,233 transactions. The performance varied across different market indices, providing a mixed outcome for investors.

The Main Market Index experienced a decline, dropping by 16.98 points to settle at 7202.05 points, reflecting a decrease of 0.24 percent. This movement occurred through the trading of 475 million shares, executed via 15,914 transactions, with a total value amounting to KWD 54.6 million, or approximately USD 167 million.

On the other hand, the Premier Market Index saw a positive movement, gaining 25.93 points to close at 8487.68 points, an increase of 0.31 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 144.9 million shares, handled in 9,319 transactions, valued at KWD 57.5 million, roughly USD 175.9 million.

Additionally, the Main 50 Index recorded a slight increase, rising by 0.14 points to reach 7116.09 points. This was supported by a stock volume of 396 million shares transacted in 13,062 deals, amassing a value of KWD 48.4 million, which is approximately USD 148.10 million.
