Kuwait Bourse Closes Lower as All Share Index Declines

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index lost 15.48 points to reach 8,843.34 points, a decrease of 0.17 percent. As many as 708.9 million shares valued at KWD 152.7 million (roughly USD 465.7 million) were traded via 30,492 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went down by 26 points to reach 8,452.29 points, an increase of 0.31 percent, through 414.8 million shares done via 18,704 transactions valued at KWD 63.8 million (roughly USD 194.5 million).

The Premier Market Index lost 13.62 points to reach 9,377.84, down by 0.15 percent, through 294.11 million shares done via 11,788 transactions valued at KWD 88.8 million (roughly USD 266.4 million).

Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index went down by 11.10 points to reach 8,842.67 points, a decrease of 0.13 percent, through stock volume of 276.19 million shares done in 11,221 deals at a value of KWD 45.3 million (roughly USD 138.16 million).
