Beirut: Israeli artillery on Saturday targeted Mount Basil, located opposite the towns of Ramia and Beit Lif in the Bint Jbeil district. The shelling was directed at the area between these towns, but there is no immediate information on casualties.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese National News Agency reported the artillery strike. In response, the Lebanese Army Command released a statement confirming that specialized army units had dismantled four unexploded aerial bombs. These bombs, remnants of previous Israeli aggression, were found in the towns of Abba and Harouf in Nabatieh, Burj Al Shamali in Tyre, and Debbine in Marjayoun.
The unexploded bombs have been safely transported to a secure location where the necessary procedures will be conducted. The Army Command has urged residents to exercise caution in areas previously subjected to Israeli attacks. They also advised reporting any suspicious objects to the nearest military post.
