According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion also revolved around pressing regional and global developments. Both leaders expressed concern over the situations in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, Syria, and Lebanon, emphasizing the urgency of an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. They called for the release of hostages and prisoners, the facilitation of aid entry, and measures to prevent further humanitarian crises in the region.

Additionally, HH the Amir and HE the French President deliberated on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine crisis. They highlighted the necessity for increased efforts towards achieving a cessation of hostilities, reinforcing their commitment to promoting peace and stability on the international stage.
