Doha: HE Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi discussed with Head of the Middle and North Africa (MENA) for the World Economic Forum, Maroun Kairouz, ways to enhance joint cooperation between the GCC General Secretariat and the Forum.
According to Qatar News Agency, during their meeting, which took place on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 55th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum 2025, the two sides discussed several topics. Most notably, they focused on the work of the World Economic Forum for the MENA region and the mechanism for enhancing the participation of the General Secretariat in upcoming forums to achieve common goals.
Several issues of common concern were also discussed, and the latest developments on the regional and international arenas were followed up.
