Doha: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi expressed his sincere condolences and profound sympathies to the State of Qatar over the martyrdom of a Qatari citizen who was killed by shrapnel resulting from military operations in the region. The incident also left a resident injured.

According to Qatar News Agency, Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi also wished a swift recovery to the injured and prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect the State of Qatar and its people.
