Doha: European stock indexes started the first trading session of December lower, after posting monthly gains in November. The European STOXX 600 index fell 0.4 percent at the start of trading, reaching 574.13 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the industrial sector index dropped 1.3 percent, recording the largest losses on the STOXX 600. The German DAX fell 0.6 percent, the British FTSE dropped 0.1 percent, and the French CAC declined 0.5 percent.
