Doha: Es’hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, signed a multi-year agreement with Morocco’s Public Broadcasting Company (SNRT) to lease satellite capacities for direct-to-home (DTH) and digital terrestrial television (DTT/TNT), as well as broadcast and display services on the Es’hail-1 satellite.
According to Qatar News Agency, Es’hailSat indicated that providing the SNRT package of channels on this satellite comes to improve signal coverage and provide a wide viewing opportunity for the programs throughout this vast region, the company said in a statement. This cooperation between the two institutions also embodies the joint commitment to providing a variety of content to meet regional demand.
President and CEO of Es’hailSat Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari expressed happiness at signing this agreement and said that Es’hailSat is proud to have the Moroccan Public Broadcasting Company, one of the most prominent public broadcasting companies in the region, join its group of strategic customers.
There will be work to meet all the needs in a way that allows for the development of the partnership between the Moroccan Public Broadcasting Company and Es’hailSat, which is one of the best satellite operators and service providers in the Middle East and North Africa region, he added.
Following the signing of this multi-year agreement, the SNRT’s channel package is also available via the Es’hail-1 satellite.
