Gaza: The death toll from the genocidal war and aggression waged by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 52,908 martyrs, in addition to 119,721 wounded.
According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that the death toll includes 2,780 martyrs and 7,680 injuries since March 18, when the occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip following the ceasefire agreement.
Over the past 24 hours, 46 martyrs arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals, including 31 new martyrs, 15 martyrs who were recovered, and 73 injured. A number of victims remain under the rubble and debris, and on the streets, as ambulances and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip on March 18, after a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that entered into force on Jan. 19. However, the occupation violated the terms of the ceasefire over the two months, as it continued its bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in martyrs and wounded, and refused to implement the humanitarian protocol, and tightened its stifling siege on the Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
