Doha: Headed by HE Chairman of Central Municipal Council, Mohammed bin Ali Al Athba, the Council held the 34th meeting of its seventh session Tuesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the 34th meeting went over its agenda items, topped by a coordination meeting with HE President of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Eng. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Meer, along with a number of Ashghal senior officials, with the aim of gaining insights into current and future infrastructure projects across various regions and for Council members to receive answers to their inquiries.

HE President of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Eng. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Meer expressed his appreciation for the Municipal Council’s role in conveying the needs and requests of citizens regarding the completion of projects in their areas. His Excellency affirmed Ashghal’s readiness to receive feedback and engage with members’ requests in a way that ensures the improvement of services and the development of infrastructure.

Ashghal officials also presented a detailed briefing on key projects currently underway, as well as those planned for future implementation. The meeting witnessed wide engagement from Council members, who raised their questions and comments, which were directly addressed by the Authority’s officials.

For his part, HE Chairman of Central Municipal Council, Mohammed bin Ali Al Athba praised Ashghal’s pivotal role in implementing national projects, which enhance the quality of life and meet citizens’ aspirations. His Excellency said that the Council’s cooperation with Ashghal sets an example for enhancing communication and transparency in the pursuit of shared goals.
