Muaither Al Wukair: The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs has inaugurated a new mosque in the Muaither Al Wukair area. The Amna bint Mohammed bin Mubarak Mosque, covering an area of 2,909 square meters, can accommodate 270 male and female worshipers and includes an attached imam’s residence.

According to Qatar News Agency, the mosque was endowed by Sheikha Munira bint Ghanem bin Abdulrahman Al-Abdulrahman Al-Thani and her sisters. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s plan to expand and develop mosques across the country, aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030 to keep pace with urban and population growth.

The mosque features an ablution space and numerous public parking spaces, with some designated for people with disabilities, ensuring well-planned entrances and exits for all visitors.
