Beirut: At least 15 people have been killed and another 83 injured in Israeli occupation gunfire in southern Lebanon, according to preliminary statistics from the country’s Ministry of Health on Sunday. A ministry statement said that among the fatalities were two women and an army soldier.
According to Qatar News Agency, the victims were trying to return to their areas on the day their forces were due to pull out of southern Lebanon under the November 27 cease-fire deal with Hezbollah.
