Jenin: The number of Palestinian martyrs due to the ongoing Israeli shelling of the city of Jenin and its camp in the occupied West Bank has risen to 8.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that the bodies of eight martyrs and 35 wounded have arrived at various hospitals in the West Bank so far, noting that the number is likely to increase.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that the occupation forces are still preventing ambulance crews from entering the Jenin camp to transport the wounded, especially in the besieged Al Damj neighborhood, and their snipers are on the roofs and buildings opposite, preventing citizens from leaving or entering the camp.
The occupation army had announced earlier Tuesday that it had launched an aggression on Jenin city and its camp, amid threats from ministers in the Israeli government to escalate the situation in the West Bank.
