Qatar’s Justice Ministry Launches New Internal Audit System During Awareness Event

Doha: Qatar's Ministry of Justice has launched a new electronic system for managing internal audit operations as part of activities marking the Global Internal Audit Awareness Month. The event, organized in cooperation with the State Audit Bureau, was held under the patronage of HE Justice Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi and attended by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry stated that the new digital platform is designed to strengthen governance, improve internal oversight, and support the ministry's wider digital transformation strategy by streamlining audit observations and follow-up procedures. Speaking at the event, Najla Fahed Dalwan, Director of the Internal Audit Department, emphasized that the system was introduced in response to growing governance requirements and the need to transition from manual procedures to a unified digital framework, thereby enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and risk management.
