Cairo:The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the attack on the liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier "Al Mayeda," which is owned by Qatar Gas Transport Company Limited "Nakilat," while it was navigating the waters of the Arabian Gulf.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Arab Parliament described the attack as a significant threat to the security of the region, maritime navigation, and global energy supplies. The Parliament expressed its complete solidarity with Qatar, supporting any actions the country may take to secure its safety, protect its maritime vessels, and safeguard its international trade.
The Arab Parliament also emphasized the importance of the international community taking responsibility to ensure the security of maritime navigation and international trade. It called for addressing such attacks in accordance with international law.
