Doha: Qatar’s diplomatic, consular, and representative missions across the globe marked the State’s National Day, commemorating the Founder, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, on December 18. The celebrations were characterized by significant official and public participation in various capitals and cities, showcasing Qatar’s extensive relations with nations worldwide.
According to Qatar News Agency, Their Excellencies, heads of Qatar’s diplomatic, consular, and representative missions abroad, conveyed their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and the Qatari populace. This year’s celebration is themed “With You It Rises, From You It Awaits.”
In their statements, the heads of missions emphasized that National Day celebrations reinforce loyalty and belonging, enhance pride in national identity, and demonstrate the commitment of successive generations to emulate their forefathers. They reiterated their pledge to continue advancing development, renaissance, and prosperity under wise leadership.
The mission heads highlighted the successes of Qatari diplomacy in addressing regional and international conflicts, aligning with Qatar’s foreign policy to promote international peace and security through peaceful dispute resolution.
